Website analytics

We use PostHog to count page visits and see which pages are useful. Session recording and autocapture are off, so we do not record what you type or which elements you click beyond a small number of navigation events we define explicitly. We do not send form inputs or email content to analytics, and we respect browser “Do Not Track” settings.

Email enquiries

The site uses direct email links rather than a web form, so nothing you write reaches us until you choose to send it. Information you send is handled through the relevant email service and used only to answer your enquiry.

Payments

Nothing is on sale on this site yet, so no payment is taken and no card or billing data is processed. When the directory goes on sale, payment will be handled by a third-party processor whose checkout collects card details directly, and this page will be updated before that happens.

Where the directory data comes from

The directory describes companies, not private individuals. Every record is built from statutory filings and from what the company publishes about itself: its registry entry, its filed accounts where these are public, and its own website. Directors and officers appear only as they are named on a public register or by the company itself, in a professional capacity. We do not hold personal mobile numbers or private email addresses, and we do not buy contact data from list brokers.

Company officer information on a public register may still be personal data about a real person under the law of your jurisdiction. Where it is, we hold it only in the professional capacity in which it was published, and we will remove an individual’s details from our records on request even where the underlying register continues to publish them.

If you represent a company in the directory, or are named in a record, and want it corrected or removed, email contact@seekcompanies.site and we will do it. Removal takes effect in the next version we publish. Copies already downloaded by a customer before that point are outside our control, which is the honest limit of what any directory can promise.
